Project Highlights
Food discovery, reimagined. A home feed organized around mood and moment "Yummy delights," cuisine filters, popular spots nearby surfaced through both list and map views so users could decide based on what's close, what's trending, or what they're craving.
One app, four ways to eat. Rather than forcing users to pick a lane, Kuks lets them switch between Dine in, Home Delivery, Pickup, and Preorder from a single intent selector. A small interaction with a big effect on retention, since the same app serves the office lunch crowd and the weekend dinner planner.
Menus that respect the diner. Restaurant menus were structured by category (Starters, Pizza, Fast Food, Fries) with inline pricing, size selection, and reviews. The structure mirrors how people actually scan a physical menu, not how a database stores one.
Deals and rewards built in. A dedicated Deals section pulls live offers from nearby restaurants, while a points and redemption system gives repeat users a reason to come back. Loyalty isn't bolted on, it's part of the core flow.
A design system from the ground up. A custom brand mark, a warm yellow and charcoal palette, a hand drawn icon set for cuisines, and Roboto as the type system give Kuks a friendly, food first identity that works across hundreds of screens.
