In a country like Pakistan where cricket is at the heart of sports and when match season begins every cricket fan wants to be constantly connected to match events and updates, a platform like Cricingif conceived with the ambition to create a sports cricket platform experience like no other.
Two years after the idea was conceived Cricingif’s founders were trying to realise their ideas and ambitions on to a visual experience. They had built a website that validated their proof of concept but wanted to do a lot more in terms of features, capability and the visual refinement it deserved.
Due to a big international match upcoming in a few months, we were on a short timeline which meant we had to quickly get a firm grasp on the Industry, the game and the users to launch and get this live into the market.
The assumption here was that a lot of cricket fans were already using website like cricinfo to get their daily buzz on all things cricket.
Since we prioritizing on some early features on the initial release like the news and match streaming, we start putting together the Architecture of the website to get our bearings and to see how the whole puzzle will fit in together.
Due to a short deadline we created milestones on what we needed to complete by specific timelines in order to keep up pace with our deliverables and aggressive timelines.
The redesign of the Cricingif had a positive impact on the signup experience and active number of subscribers, the overall metrics also saw and overall increase in conversation.s
