Venture Republic is a product design and development agency focused on service clients in Europe and USA. We are also starting on some internal products focused on lead gen and design services. The Business Development role will be responsible for applying to various online projects and bidding for them, as well as reaching out to potential clients through cold outreach methods such as LinkedIn, email, and direct calls. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a proven track record of winning bids and generating sales leads. We are looking for a witty, self start candidate who is great at sales , generating and qualifying leads.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bid Management:
- Generate business via portals like Upwork, Guru, etc.
- Experience with Quality project selection and bidding.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand the project requirements and create a compelling proposal.
- Writing proposals and customizing each proposal based on the nature of the project.
- Submit bids within the stipulated time frame and follow up with the clients to increase the chances of winning the project.
- Maintaining a database of bids and making sure the sale funnel status updates are clearly being updated on the CRM.
2. Cold Outreach:
- Identify potential clients through LinkedIn, email, and social platforms
- Make cold calls to explore new business opportunities and Interact with clients.
- Introduce the company and its services to potential clients and identify their requirements.
- Follow up with potential clients and schedule meetings to discuss business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in online bidding and cold outreach.
- Should have knowledge of Web Design and Development company.
- Excellent english communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with online bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru.
- Proficiency in Airtable, Excel and CRM software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones.
